Sulaimaniya airport sticks to Baghdad ban against Turkish flights

SULAIMANIYA / Aswat al-Iraq: Director of Sulaimaniya International Airport disclosed that his administration abides by the federal ministry of transport decision to stop all air flight between Turkey and Iraq, till the Turkish approval to receive Iraqi planes.
Director Tahir Abdullah, in a statement to Aswat al-Iraq, he declared that "airport administration will abide by the ministry of transport decision, because it is a central order that includes Kurdistan region".
"We do not want to stop flights with any country, but the decision came from Baghdad and we should abide by it till the problems are solved, then we will resume our flights".
Iraqi Transport Ministry decided on 20 November not to receive any Turkish plane till the Turkishauthorities agree to receive Iraqi planes in their ports.
