Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki: We will carry on our visit to South Korea to the list of projects for infrastructure

Said Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki, Iraqi government's keenness to develop relations with South Korea.

The Prime Minister during the meeting at his office today, the official and Minister of Economy of the Republic of South Korea Mr. Jong Yong Goa, that the response of the Korean investment projects and infrastructure development in the areas of education, electricity and energy is an important initiative in the framework of the promotion and strengthening of bilateral relations.

He said: We will hold to visit us near to South Korea to the list of projects for infrastructure, and the National Investment Commission to have a clear vision about the projects to be implemented by Korean companies in Iraq, reiterated the call for the Korean companies to participate in the process of building and construction taking place in Iraq.

For his part, Minister of the Korean economy: Our country and the President of waiting for your visit, because we believe that this visit is the cornerstone for the development of relations between the two countries, and will lead to greater cooperation in various fields, especially education, energy, oil refineries and infrastructure projects, in addition to the importance of the meeting investors and Men Korean business.

Mr Jong Yong Goa: South Korea can play a big role in Iraq's reconstruction, and that of Korean companies is a definite desire to participate in this area.
