Canadian authorities summon Qadri for violating oath

By Web Desk Published: January 18, 2013 A file photo of MQI chief Tahirul Qadri taken during one of his religious lectures. Canadian authorities on Friday summoned Minhajul Quran International (MQI) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on February 5, and sought explanation from him for violating the oath he took while seeking asylum, Express News reported. The authorities said that Qadri violated the oath stating that he was not allowed to enter the country he had sought asylum from. According to Express News correspondent Shakeel Anjum, Abdul Shakoor Qadri, otherwise known as Tahir Qadri, had sought asylum from Canada in 2008, fearing threats to his life after he met with the Danish cartoonist responsible for making blasphemous caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Qadri, through his lawyer Mendel Green, had requested that he was receiving death threats from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) and Sipah-e-Sahaba. On October 17, 2009, his asylum application was accepted, while he was issued the Canadian passport about six months back. The MQI chief has also been receiving welfare funds from the Canadian government, citing health issues. Qadri, who led a 5-day long march in Islamabad which concluded Thursday evening, is currently present in Pakistan. He is scheduled to fly back to Canada on January 27 along with his family. (AFP Photo/Asif Hassan) (104.0Mb) embed video The government of Pakistan is so corrupt that it has no means to ensure democratic processes, cleric Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has told RT in an exclusive interview, urging reforms to "put the country on the right track." RT: Do you think the march will derail democracy in Pakistan, especially if the general election takes place within the next few months? Cleric Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri: Democracy is not going to be derailed. It has already been derailed by corrupt political leaders. We want to put democracy on the right track. And we want to put democracy in place in its true letter and spirit. We don’t want any kind of delay in elections. The electorate reforms which I have suggested, they are already mentioned in the constitution of Pakistan. All the details which I am demanding are already there in the law, constitution and electoral laws. And the whole thing, my electorate reforms agenda has been endorsed by the supreme court of Pakistan in its judgment which was issued on the 8 June 2012. This year we just have to enforce these articles of the constitution and sections of electoral law and the judgment of the Supreme Court. It will not take more than a month to implement and we still have three months of caretaker government. So there is no chance of derailing democracy. Elections can take place on time. RT: You have accused the political leaders of Pakistan of corruption and other crimes. What do you expect to change? MQ: First of all, let me substantiate what I had stated. The majority of these people are corrupt. There is a department of the government, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), and its chairman retired Admiral Fasih Bokhari is appointed by the president of Pakistan, Mr. Zardari himself. He has stated in his press conference and he has said in his official NAB statement that five thousand million rupees per annum are going to corruption. So these are the affectionate figures given by the government department. And at the same time it is declared and it’s not denied that seventy percent of members of Parliament in Pakistan are tax evaders. They do not bother to file tax returns. They conceal their source of income. So the corruption, there is nobody that can deny this reality. So our march and movement is anti-corruption to eradicate corruption from our society and indeed the whole Muslim world, the whole third world and developing Muslim countries. We have to get rid of corruption and corrupt leaders. We have to get rid of tax evaders and law breakers. This is why we have started this struggle as a Tahrir Square of Pakistan. Supporters of Pakistani Muslim cleric Tahir-ul Qadri flash the V-sign as they celebrate the victory of a demand for electoral reform at a protest rally in Islamabad on January 17, 2013. (AFP Photo/Asif Hassan) RT:You mentioned Egypt and some other countries, it’s a very famous saying “ the revolution is its own children” and what happened in Egypt, Libya and other countries, those who cause the revolutions, they are not the rulers now. Do you feel that the fruits of your efforts could go to somebody else? MQ: I do not think that somebody else will gain, because somebody else has no intention to take over power. They have lost a lot of their reputation because of past experiences and they, in fact, are not specialists at controlling civil society. They have not been trained for it. When I say a revolution, you should keep in your mind in Egypt, in Tunis, in Libya and all these countries, there was a military dictatorship for years and years, for a really long time and the people stood up against that. In Iran, it was the monarchical rule of the Shah, people stood up against that. Pakistan’s case is a little bit different, there is neither monarchical rule or a military dictatorship. Here it’s electoral authoritarianism. A dictatorship-democracy as far as the term exists. There’re political parties and they manipulate the elections to come back into parliament every five years. But true democracy does not exist in this society, neither in the political field, neither in social field, nor economic field. No democracy. The people are not in fact participating in the real process of democracy. They are not getting a job, they are not getting the rule of law. They are not getting protection of their life. There is no protection for their wealth and business. There are targeted killings. People are being kidnapped. You know in the last four days, 125 dead bodies have been sitting there without a burial. No state minister was there, no provincial government was there, no members of the assembly was there. Even the Prime Minister arrived there, four days later. So there is lawlessness, total chaos and anarchy in this country. Government is totally dysfunctional. So, this is the single nation, single country in the whole Muslim world having nuclear capability and if the same situation continues, that would be a very big disaster if we collapse. So we have to put democracy on the right track. We have to stabilize society on true basis of constitution and law. This is what this movement is for. RT: Don’t you feel that if force is used, a lot of innocent lives could be sacrificed? MQ: We have to stand up. The people have to stand up for their rights. People want a peaceful society. RT: But what if they used the force? MQ: I don’t think they are going to be able to. I know thousands of commandos have arrived from the government of Pundjab. Shabazz Sharif sent thousands of commandos this night. They have already made an attempt to drive us out – the first night that we had arrived here, and they were defeated. Our security guards and ladies moved in front of them and they ran away. They ran away. I know, and I tell you, thousands of commandoes have been sent from the government of Pundjab. And they’ve arranged more from the capital too. They are thinking of a joint venture but hundreds of thousands of people are sitting here, although, they are unarmed and peaceful. They do not have any weapons. But still, hundreds of thousands of people, despite of being peaceful, they are enough to stop these kind of terrorist attacks by the government. RT: There are a lot of question marks on how you fund your campaign and this march in particular. Do you receive any foreign aid or funds? MQ: A simple answer. Who funded revolution of Ahwan and people in Egypt? Who funded them? Who funded the people in Libya? Who funded the people in Tunis? These are the people. Who funded the people in Iran, in the very old days, when the people got up for revolution? They give their lives as sacrifice. But to talk about the money, every single poor person is selling his …we sold…we gave…I gave myself, my wife, my children, my daughters, my daughter in law, all of them, my whole family gave jewellery. The ladies give their jewellery, the girls give their jewellery. People are selling their house, their motorbikes , their cars, whatever savings they have, they are spending on publicity. They are spending everything for this purpose. Supporters of Pakistani Muslim cleric Tahir-ul Qadri celebrate the victory of a demand for electoral reform at a protest rally in Islamabad on January 17, 2013. (AFP Photo/Asif Hassan) RT: It is an open secret that the Americans and some western powers, have a role in shaping the political events and scenarios in Pakistan. How do you see their role and what is your strategy towards these Americans and these Western powers? MQ: This is because of this incompetent political leadership. If you have a competent leadership who fixes and prescribes and who knows that what are our supreme national interests and then it develops or formulates as foreign policy, exactly on the basis of our own national interest. Nobody in this world whether America or any other country is your permanent friend nor your permanent enemy. We don’t want to become the enemy of other countries and we don’t want other countries, including America to be our enemies. We want a fair, friendly relationship with them but at the same time, we want to safeguard our national interests. We want to become a peaceful country. We want to protect our neighbors and region and we want to participate in the development of peace for the whole world. RT: Some accuse you of pursuing a foreign agenda that you’re trying to implement here in Pakistan. How do you respond to these accusations? MQ: Can you tell me a single day when there is no crisis in Pakistan, when there is no targeted killing, where there is no bomb terrorist attack, when there is no kidnapping? Every single day is a day of crisis in the history of Pakistan because of the inability and incompetency of these rulers. My coming here, this is a farce accusation. I totally reject it. I totally rebut it, refute it. I do not come here with any agenda, my agenda is the nation of Pakistan. Some critics can say anything to anybody. Hosni Mubarak would have said the same thing to the revolutionary people of Egypt. Colonel Gaddafi would have said the same thing. So whenever you get up for change, the people who want to maintain the status quo, they make these types of allegations and tell lies. And this time, rising up and standing up for change and democratic revolution, it is the best time, because we do not want to disturb the political mandate of the current rulers. They got their five year term and we wanted them to complete their term. Now their term is up, almost complete. The elections are due in March, do you understand, their term is coming to an end. So without disturbing their term, we gave them time to deliver, if they could deliver anything, but they could not deliver to the people. So this is the best time to bring in electoral reforms before we enter the process of elections. If the elections take place according to the same corrupt practices and the same corrupt traditions as has been taken place throughout the history, it means the same corrupt people, with fake degrees, the law breakers, corrupt people, tax evaders like the PM, who’s arrest has been ordered by the Supreme Court, these terrible people will once again be in parliament and they will ruin this country for the next five years. So I think this time, is the best time to bring electoral reforms and then elections should take place within the time given by the constitution without any delay. RT: Do you have any political ambitions? MQ: I’m not here to empower myself, I’m here to empower the people of Pakistan. I’ve already declared that I’m not a candidate to become caretaker Prime Minister, absolutely not. ============ Analysis: Why Qadri must renounce Canadian citizenship By Niaz A Shah Published: January 19, 2013 Given Allama Sahib’s background, it can be safely assumed that his asylum claim was based either on political opinion or religion or both. PHOTO: AFP Dr Tahirul Qadri sought asylum in 2008 in Canada. The gist of the asylum claim, according to this newspaper, was based on alleged threats to his life from groups such as the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) and Sipah-e-Sahaba. The presence of Allama Sahib in Pakistan raises two issues: legal and moral. Legal: Under the UN Refugee Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees 1951 and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act 2001 of Canada, individuals may claim asylum if they fear persecution based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion or belonging to a particular social group. Given Allama Sahib’s background, it can be safely assumed that his asylum claim was based either on political opinion or religion or both. For a successful asylum claim, the fear of persecution must be ‘well-founded’. Allama Sahib’s claim was found well-founded and asylum was granted. International protection (seeking asylum in another country) is temporary in nature and ceases when the circumstances giving rise to asylum cease to exist. The presence of Allama Sahib in Pakistan and his ability to compel the government to sign an agreement, mainly on his terms, demonstrate two things. First, that he can continue his political career without fear of persecution and second, the government can provide protection to him as and when needed. In such a situation, international protection (in the form of refugee status leading to Canadian citizenship) is no longer justified. The 951 Refugee Convention states: ‘This Convention shall cease to apply to any person … [who] has voluntarily re-availed himself of the protection of the country of his nationality [i.e. Pakistan]’. The Canadian authorities can revoke his refugee status as he has voluntarily come back to Pakistan. Or Allama Sahib can renounce his status himself. Moral: This brings us to the moral implications of the case. As Allama Sahib is no doubt a pious person and is espousing pious and upright political leadership, the option of giving up international protection (Canadian citizenship) would be most appropriate. If he continues to avail Canadian protection simultaneously with his heavy political engagement in Pakistan, and the fact that all those organisations, although proscribed, exist and are very active, ie, the threat is out there, it will raise doubts about the genuineness of his asylum claim in Canada. And also, both positions – refugee status in Canada and his choice to become politically active in Pakistan, a country which he left because of persecution – do not fit within the confines of refugee law. Both are men of fine oratory — the former being more gifted. They promise to kick wicked leaders out of government, reward the righteous, and deliver a new Pakistan. Before a coup-plagued nation that has spent many decades under military rule, they preach to adulating under-30 crowds about the corruption of the present rulers. But neither dares to touch Pakistan’s real issues. Both are careful to castigate only the corruption of civilians; there is nary a word about the others. Inspired by his fiery rhetoric, for four days the Maulana’s youthful Lashkar-e-Qadri had occupied D-Chowk, Islamabad’s version of Tahrir Square. The cheering, chanting, flag-waving crowd was joyous at the verdict ordering the arrest of Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. The precise timing owed to another one of Pakistan’s putative saviours — the honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan. In this age of discontent, assorted demagogues have mastered the art of mobilising the credulous masses. Corruption, say the Maulana and the Cricketer, is Pakistan’s central problem. Utopia will come if honest and pious men — perhaps themselves — are in power. But is crookedness and dishonesty the real issue? Countries which are perfectly viable and livable may still have corrupt governments. Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has been convicted of everything from tax fraud to soliciting minors for sex, and yet Italy keeps getting richer and better. No one dares call it a failed state. Mitt Romney — who Barack Obama only barely defeated — parked his assets in the Cayman Islands and paid only a little more tax than Pakistan’s unscrupulous parliamentarians. Corruption in the US is institutionalised to the point that Washington spent 10 trillion dollars of taxpayer money bailing out banks and corporations but no politician or CEO (with one exception) ended up behind the bars. Interestingly, according to the 2012 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), 70 per cent of the world’s people see their countries as more corrupt than good. So then, what are Pakistan’s real problems today? If the lives of Pakistanis are to be improved, what is it that really needs to be done? First, address the population problem. Demographers estimate the expected number of Pakistanis in 2030 at a staggering 258 million, which must be compared with 28 million in 1947 as well as the current population of 180 million. This growth is the second highest among major Muslim countries in the world. Even if we miraculously acquire the most perfect of political systems, it may be impossible to provide most Pakistanis with employment, education, food, housing, electricity, water, and a clean environment. Short of renting another planet, there is no way that the constraints of fixed land and water can be overcome. This emergency situation demands that population planning must be reinstated and contraceptives be made freely available. Once upon a time, Pakistan had a population planning organisation. But it has essentially folded up in the face of religious opposition. The Jamaat-e-Islami’s party manifesto, and those of other religious parties, specifically forbids family planning. As for the Taliban: they suspect that polio vaccines are designed to reduce Muslim fertility and so have issued dire threats. Last month, the TTP brought the immunisation programme to a halt by murdering five women and a man who were administering the shots in Karachi. So, instead of getting claps and cheers, our messiahs might have to face bullets and bombs should they dare to rally people around this real issue. Second, the terrorism of religious militias must be confronted head-on. Their daily slaughter of Pakistani soldiers and citizens, and recently the Hazara Shias, elicits only the barest whimper of protest in the media or the public. In shameful surrender, there is talk of negotiating with terrorist groups. The lesson of Swat — where kowtowing to Sufi Mohammed’s ever-escalating demands led to increased ferocity from the other side — is forgotten. The army and the state stand in muddled confusion. They know they should actually negotiate only from a position of strength and not in their present condition of weakness. Unfortunately they cannot summon the courage to do this. The Maulana is silent on this critical matter, but the Cricketer prefers to attack those who might target Pakistan’s enemies. He would rather shoot at the drones than the terrorists. Third, the promise of the messiahs that they shall bring prosperity to everyone by somehow equalising the distribution of wealth is fake and dishonest, and un-implementable. One would certainly welcome extending the tax net, and doing so would be a huge achievement. But to actually bring prosperity, wealth must be created rather than simply expropriated from somewhere. The only party that seems to give this any consideration is the PML-N. But industrial progress and a post-agricultural economy require cultural change, and so Pakistani society will need to transition from being a progress-unfriendly culture to one that welcomes and promotes progress. From the time of the 19th century German sociologist Max Weber, social scientists have observed that culture and progress go hand-in-hand. Progress-friendly cultures demand planning, punctuality, deferred gratification, belief in rationality, and the rule of law. Without acquiring these features, wealth generation is slow and uncertain. Fortunately, as it turned out, the ‘million-man march’ turned out to be a damp squib. Its victory would have resulted in indefinite postponement of the forthcoming national elections and Pakistan would have returned to a dreary tradition where no government has successfully completed its term in office. During the occupation, messiah-junior was caught in a dilemma. Eclipsed by his senior and unable to join in the demand for postponement, he now seeks to clamber his way back into the public eye. Pakistan’s restless young are out on the streets demanding change, but they must not become pawns of fake messiahs. The fist-shaking, rostrum-pounding orations of Maulana Qadri and Cricketer Khan are empty thunder; they offer nothing real. Of course, the D-Chowk youth rightly protested Pakistan’s pseudo-democracy and its venal and incompetent civilian leaders. But the military’s attempt to landscape national politics — which is probably what rocketed the Maulana into his present prominence — could be disastrous and would go the way of the army’s past failed interventions. At a time when Pakistan is seriously threatened by internal terror, the military would do well to perform its real duty which is that of protecting Pakistan’s people. ====================== Oath violation: Qadri to file appeal in Canadian federal court By Web Desk Published: January 19, 2013 File photo of Tahirul Qadri. PHOTO: OBAID ABBASI/EXPRESS ISLAMABAD: A judicial commission on Friday raised serious concerns over the rapid construction on a controversial commercial plot in Karachi Company, G-9. The plot, valued at Rs700 million, was allotted for a mere Rs200 million, according to official sources. The plot was originally allotted to renowned comedian and film star Rangeela for a cinema house. The allotment was cancelled after the celebrity failed to pay up. Following the cancellation, the CDA Board changed the status of the plot to commercial and re-auctioned it for a plaza. The plaza is currently being rapidly constructed, which may, in future, allow the owner to find a legal loophole to pay less for the project even if misappropriations are proved and the plot re-auctioned. A CDA official said that a VIP personality from the ruling party is secretly behind the project. He said that in June last year, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had taken into custody the complete records pertaining to the plot. On Friday, the three-member judicial commission headed by former Supreme Court judge Sardar Raza Khan heard the case in-camera (no access to media) and recorded statements. The judicial commission was formed in November 2012 to prepare a report on about 600 cases pertaining to CDA pending in the Islamabad High Court. Two retired sessions’ judges, Sakhi Muhammad Kahut and Baqir Ali Rana, are the other two judges in the commission. The commission was to be compensated Rs5 million for three months of work. But sources say that it is unlikely the commission will be able to complete its report in the stipulated time. The commission has advertised in various newspapers asking people to come forward and record their statements. So far, an official familiar with the sessions said, four people have recorded their statements. Commission Secretary Pervez Qadir Memon confirmed that the commission on Friday was concerned over the rapid construction on the commercial plot. So far, he added, more than 70 employees and officials from CDA have recorded their statements. The commission has completed hearings for Monal Restaurant at Pir Sohawa, IJP Road from Faizabad to Pirwadhai, Park Tower land allotment, LED streetlight project and Kuri Model Village. Ibne Hassan alias Shabbu Bhai, 58, a manager at General Tyres, was shot dead as he was walking toward his car to drop off his grandson to the school, Saudabad police said. Two armed men on a motorcycle came close to Hassan and shot him. The victim was shot once in the neck and died shortly after the incident, DSP Fakharul Islam told The Express Tribune. The body was taken to Jinnah hospital and was later handed over to the family. Hassan had no personal enmity and the investigation suggests that he was killed over sectarian basis, said DSP Islam. The police have yet to register the case. Following his murder, several people staged a protest and blocked traffic on National Highway, Malir, Jafar-e-Tayyar Society and Saudabad. The protesters burnt tyres and shouted slogans against the killings of the Shia community members. The protesters later dispersed after peaceful negotiations with the police but DSP Islam feared the law and order situation may again be disturbed during his funeral planned for late night. The Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen also condemned the incident. Maulana Sadiq Raza Taqvi said the government and law enforcement agencies have failed to stop the targeted killing of the Shia community. Rehman Malik said authorities had learned militants might be planning to target the crowd, and that the cleric, Muhammad Tahirul Qadri, would be held responsible for any attacks.
"The best commandos are with me today," Malik told a news conference, saying security forces could take action against Qadri within the next two days to prevent "expected terrorism". "I hope that he listens to me."
Qadri, who backed a military coup in 1999, is calling for the immediate resignation of the government and the installation of a caretaker administration to oversee electoral reforms. The government was rocked on Tuesday by a Supreme Court order for the arrest of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf within 24 hours on suspicion of corruption. Qadri's appearance at the forefront of Pakistan's political scene has fuelled speculation that the army, which has a long history of involvement in politics, has tacitly endorsed his campaign in an effort to pile more pressure on a government it sees as inept and corrupt. Qadri and the military deny this. Pakistan's information minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said political leaders would not bow to Qadri's demands. "All political parties are happy with the Election Commission and elections will happen on time," he said. He added that elections would take place as scheduled between May 5 and 15. The opposition Pakistan Muslim League led by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif also rejected Qadri's call for the military to play a role in the formation of a caretaker government to oversee the run-up to elections. "Tahirul Qadri is working on somebody's agenda to derail democracy in Pakistan and we reject all of his demands," Sharif told a news conference. Qadri's appeal has cast fresh uncertainty over the government's effort to become the first civilian Pakistani administration to complete a full term. The military has ruled Pakistan for over half of its 65 years since independence. Current chief General Ashfaq Kayani has vowed to keep the military out of politics. Prime Minister Ashraf remained a free man on Wednesday since officials said the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), which would carry out the arrest, had not yet received direct orders. The officials said the NAB chief would go the Supreme Court on Thursday to discuss the issue. The ruling coalition, led by the Pakistan People's Party, has a majority in parliament and its lawmakers can simply elect another prime minister if Ashraf is ousted. In June, Ashraf replaced Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani, who was disqualified by the Supreme Court in a previous showdown between the government and the judiciary. PHOTO: FILE KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader and MPA Syed Manzar Imam was shot dead by suspected Taliban gunmen in Karachi’s Orangi Town locality on Thursday, along with two police guards and a driver. Minutes after Imam left his home in the congested Orangi neighbourhood; five men on three motorcycles intercepted his Toyota Corolla car near Nishan-e-Haider Chowk and sprayed it with bullets, according to the police. “It was a well coordinated attack,” said DIG West Javed Odho. “We have found over 40 casings of bullets fired from 9mm pistols and submachine guns.” Imam, 43, was hit by eight bullets in the head, face and chest, causing his immediate death. The police initially said that the attackers had used AK-47s. According to media reports, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan claimed responsibility for the attack. “I can’t say with certainty which banned extremist outfit is behind it. But the MPA had a confrontation with some religious elements in the area,” said Odho, who refused to explain what he meant by ‘confrontation.’ “You must realize that Orangi Town is a difficult area. There were threats to his life. And a possible connection with the murder of another MQM MPA cannot be ruled out,” he added. Odho also said that the two guards with him were policemen, who had been provided for security after they received information that his life was under threat. The police have determined that Imam was a victim of extremist violence, but contrary to what his name suggests, he was not a member of the Shia community and belonged to the Ahle-Sunnat sect. The incident shocked the MQM, which has already lost MPA Raza Haider (whose constituency was also Orangi Town) in a similar attack in 2010 and several workers at a recent bomb blast near its rally. Hundreds of MQM activists, including core party leaders, poured into Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where the bodies of the MPA and other victims were taken for medico-legal formalities. The news of his death spread like wildfire throughout the city. Shopping centres, markets and petrol pumps were shut within an hour as people scrambled to reach home, creating traffic gridlocks. MQM leader Wasay Jalil said that Imam did not belong to the Shia community but the involvement of sectarian outfits have not spared anyone. “For the last five years, we have been telling law enforcement agencies to keep a lookout for extremists. They have killed two of our MPAs and attacked our rally. It looks like there is no law in the city,” he added. Jalil said that the MQM will not be deterred by the attacks and continue to press for reforms, which will help counter religious intolerance. The party has announced three days of mourning. Imam rose through the ranks of his party from the bottom rung of the ladder – he started off as an activist in 1986 and was then nominated for a provincial assembly seat in 2008. President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned assassination and directed the concerned authorities to bring the culprits to justice. He expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families. Meanwhile, Sindh Dr Governor Ishratul Ebad Khan also called on the president at Bilawal House, where he discussed the ‘current situation’, according to a spokesperson. HT asks its friends in army to come to the fore NewsComments (5) AAMIR MAJEED Saturday, 5 Jan 2013 3:47 am | Comments (5) KARACHI - Responding to Pakistan Army’s Green Book, the country’s “internal threat” Hizbut Tahrir has called on sincere officers in the armed forces to work with it to get rid of “alleged traitors” in their lines, as the group believes it is time to openly come to the fore before it is too late. “We are the ones Pakistan Army chief General Ashfaq Kayani called ‘amorphous enemy’ in his speech at the 98th Midshipmen Commissioning term and 7th SSC Officer’s class in Karachi,” an e-mail to Pakistan Today from Hizbut Tahrir (HuT) headquarters’ said. “Earlier, we requested the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which is another threat for traitors within the armed forces, to reject talks with the authorities and side only with Khilafah Rashida over Pakistan and Afghanistan.” “Khilafah would establish correct footing for Muslim armed forces as assets available to Islam’s foreign policy, along with political means.” “The Khilafah state would establish massive and comprehensive industrialisation to establish military superiority in weaponry and would help unify all Muslim lands as one state under one Khalifa. The Khilafa would end all occupation on Muslims soil, like the Jewish state and Indian occupation of Kashmir.” “It will eject all hostile actors, such as American presence in Pakistan and will call to other non-hostile, non-Muslim states by inviting them to Islam and rejecting oppression of America and its man-made system.” “So HT calls on sincere officers in the country’ armed forces to work hand in hand with us to rid of these traitors and establish Khilafah in its place,” the e-mail added. Backing its argument, the HT alleged that in the final year of his service, General Kayani was working hard to change the mentality of the armed forces so that after his departure, the war of ‘fitna’ remained in its place. “As it was not enough for him to set a stage for a face-change of political traitors, he has indulged himself in making sure that he is succeeded by military traitors.” “In a significant revision to green book, General Kayani enshrined America’s war of fitna as an inviolable part of the military doctrine, as the US has been earlier pressurising Pakistan to change its India-centric policy and declare the ‘internal threat’ as the biggest threat to the security of the country.” “To change this doctrine and to change focus of our armed forces from India to our own internal tribal territory, General Kayani used the incidents of Abbottabad and Salala attack, as these incidents in reality proved that our actual enemy was the US, but the army chief used these incidents as an excuse to further ignite the war of fitna and burn our sons in the armed forces and the citizens in this war.” “HT reminds all those who care about Islam, its people and Pakistan that this change in doctrine will serve to open a new chapter of humiliation and slavery of Pakistan by non-Muslim states.” “We have requested the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which is another threat for traitors within the armed forces, to announce rejection of surrender talks and express stance of siding only with Khilafah Rashida over Pakistan and Afghanistan.” “It is difficult to understand that any of the Taliban would even consider such a peace plan after having sacrificed so much time, effort and the money and spilling so much blood.” “By all accounts, the root and branches of the peace plan seek only to safeguard the US wavering rule in the region and that of its puppets in the Afghan government.” “There is no doubt that this plan is an insult to countless Pakistani and Afghan civilians who have lost their lives in their service to protect Islam and would be despicable affront to thousands of martyrs and tens of thousands of mujahideen who made the US and his allies kneel and search for a hasty exit from Afghanistan.” “The TTP’s only valid political goal is the re-establishment of the Khilafah Rashida, which entails giving the bayah to the Khaleefah who will rule in accordance with the Quran, Sunnah, Ijama Sahaba and Qiyas and any other political outcome, short of this goal is null and void.” “Only the complete implementation of Islam in all walks of life is sought and partial implementation is rejected in all its forms.” =============

Factbox: Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri Plan leading ultra-consitution body to vet Candidates as in Iran

Now it will be easy for CJP to kick who ever he doesn't like, The fate of Dr. Tahirul Qadri commission will be no better then Sydal commission against Riaz Malik. Off-coure it will end up to be lead by a Judge , a NAB General, Mulla or Militant or Military Commander. Until and unless, the nation will not unite under an honest and senior cleric likes of Ayatollah Khomeni. He didn't explain his past association with military regime. His plan will ultimately leading to establishment of ultra consitution insitutuion to filter/ vet candidates like in Iran (which is being condemned by Western Democracies), now question arises who will lead it: CJP is no more trusted as he released several Taliban criminals and the day Bilour died, he released Lal Masjid Mullas, so tell me who will be that Massihah to honestly measure honesty of future candidates? Dr Qadri is a former parliamentarian and chief of a chain of religious institutes across the world named Minhaj-ul-Quran and also heads a political party named Pakistan Awami Tehreek. He made the announcement while addressing a massive public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan under the slogan “Siyasat Nahin, Riyasat Bachao” (Save the state, not politics) on Sunday in which thousands of people from across Punjab participated. During his speech, Dr Qadri also thanked MQM chief Altaf Hussain for sending a 50-member delegation to the gathering, led by Farooq Sattar and Haider Abbas Rizvi. He also paid tribute to renowned nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan and announced that he (Dr Qadeer) would be coming to Lahore with him very soon. Before formally starting his address, he also offered condolences over the assassination of ANP leader Bashir Ahmed Bilour in a bomb blast in Peshawar on Saturday. He said that his agenda was to correct, not postpone the general elections, but it is a fact that there is no bar in constitution under its Article 254 to extend the date of elections for 90 days, if needed. He said that he will oppose army interference in the democratic process because he is against any kind of dictatorship and committed not to support army takeover in the country. Dr Qadri said that he did not hold this public meeting on the directions of any secret security agency nor did he use foreign funds, and all expenditures for it were met from the funds generated by his religious institution’s –Minhaj-ul-Quran – volunteers only. He termed corruption as one of the major reasons for poor economy. Qadri said his agenda was not to get cancelled the upcoming elections but to ensure electoral reforms that guarantee fair and transparent polls. He urged establishment of an interim setup after taking all stakeholders into confidence, and stressed that members of judiciary and army, not political leaders, should be engaged in caretaker government. He said that Article-3, 62 and 63 should be implemented before the next general elections. He said that he would free people of Pakistan from the clutches of landlords and feudal lords. =========== Iran can give new social system to the world: Religious leader Islamabad, Oct 4, IRNA -- A Pakistani religious leader on Thursday said that Iran as president of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) can give new social system to the world based on Islamic principles. کد خبر: 80355295|تاریخ خبر: 2012/10/04 Speaking to IRNA Senior Vice President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Agha Murtaza Poya said that presidency of NAM is a great responsibility on Iran which is truly a non-aligned state. “Western social systems have been failed and there is need for the replacement of secularism,” he noted. Awami Tehreek leader went on to say that presidency of NAM is an honor for Iran. “Iran from the very first day of Islamic Revolution has been a declared non-aligned state,” said the religious scholar. He said that father of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini had led the Iranian nation in difficult times. “Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is also following the teachings of Imam Khomeini and has been able to establish Iran as a powerful state of the world,” he added. Agha Murtaza Poya said that Iran has always followed a principled position on world issues. “West is trying to provoke Iran but the Islamic Republic has not responded to their tricks,” he said. The religious leader was of the view that because of the steadfastness of Iran, Russia and China are supporting the Islamic Republic on all international issues especially on Syria. “They have rejected the Euro gangsterism which is infact a tribute to Islamic Republic of Iran,” he said. He said conspiracies to weaken Islamic Revolution have been failed miserably. He said that Muslims have to revive the spirit of Islam to counter ant-Islam conspiracies of West and Iran can play a very important role in this regards. Agha Murtaza Poya was hopeful that the world under Iran’s NAM presidency will soon witness major developments. He said that United Nations (UN) is just implementing the American and Zionists regime’s agendas. The intellectual said that United Nations will be finished soon and NAM will emerge as a strong international organization that will protect the rights of all nations in the world. He said Iran can give new social system to the world based on Islamic principles as the secularism has been failed. Expressing his views on the statement of US Republican candidate Mitt Romney that US is going through economic crunch, Agha Murtaza Poya said that the US is facing economic crisis because of the unrealistic policies they have been following. **1412 انتهای پیام /* ========================= MQM, Tahirul Qadri join hands for ‘million-man march’ By Abdul Manan Published: December 28, 2012 Tahirul Qadri acknowledges supporters at Minar-e-Pakistan. PHOTO: NNI LAHORE: The Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and Minhajul Quran International (MQI) have decided to join forces and agreed on Thursday to hold the promised “million-man march” jointly to press for a neutral caretaker set-up and free, fair and transparent elections. Although the MQM has agreed to Dr Tahirul Qadri’s stance of carrying out the long march, the final decision in this regard will be taken in their next meeting which is scheduled to be held on Saturday in Karachi. MQM’s high-level delegation, led by Farooq Sattar met with MQI founder Qadri at his office and both leaders contemplated on the prospects of staging a long march on January 14. Those who attended the meeting said that Qadri will visit MQM’s headquarters in Karachi on Saturday to deliberate over the execution of the long march plan, and discuss further options available if the government responds to their demands by January 10. Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Farooq Sattar said that both the leaders have agreed that the upcoming general elections should be on time and should be free from corruption. In order to achieve this target, Sattar said, both parties want to see a neutral caretaker set-up which should be impartial and autonomous, one that the nation trusts. Qadri endorsed Sattar’s point of view, and said the two parties will continue consulting each other regarding the January 14 march. The long march would be a joint venture between MQM and his party, Qadri said, and that it would bring in electoral reforms. Sattar from Lahore Airport Earlier, speaking to the media at the Allama Iqbal Airport, Sattar alleged that Secretary Election Commission was biased and wanted to destroy the peaceful atmosphere of Karachi. He said that the election commission’s secretary was being partial and wanted to change MQM’s mandate in Karachi. Sattar demanded that the chief election commissioner (CEC) should investigate the attitude of the ECP secretary and remove him from his position. PHOTO: MQM KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has claimed that he will launch a “political drone attack” on Tuesday January 8, 2013. In a statement released by the MQM early on Sunday morning, Altaf hoped that once he launches his drone attack in the next 72 hours, no one in Pakistan can launch a counter political drone attack. The MQM chief urged his party workers to prepare themselves for the strike and for its after effects. The release though did not elaborate on the nature of the attack, nor the intended target of the strike. The MQM has been caught in between storms. The party has pledged to support and travel to Islamabad as part of Minhajul Quran International chief Dr Tahirul Qadri’s long march on Islamabad. =============== An edited version of Ayesha Siddiqa’s analysis of Tahir-ul-Qadri’s thesis Note: The following piece is cross-posted from Express Tribune with some edits to take care of some minor omissions in the original piece. A closer look at Tahirul Qadri’s thesis - by Ayesha Siddiqa Almost everyone seems to want a piece of Tahirul Qadri — [at least some pro-Deobandi-Salafist elements in the military] establishment to use him to derail the democratic process and most political parties that are partnering with him for a mix of political and strategic reasons. The [military] establishment-produced parties like the PML-Q want Qadri to fulfil the objective of countering the PML-N in Punjab. But then there are others like the MQM who want him for a host of reasons such as tapping into the imagined [or real] Sunni Barelvi support base of the MQM to gain advantage in elections but also to subvert the [Sipah Sahaba] Taliban influence, particularly in Karachi where it is a problem for the MQM. Tahirul Qadri’s capacity is both imagined and [real]. The Sunni Barelvi vote [the largest sect in Pakistan with 50% Sunni Barelvi, 20% Deobandis, 20% Shias and 10% Ahle Hadith] has not always followed closed-group dynamics, which means that it not all Sunni Barelvis may support Qadri. Furthermore, its financial capacity is also exaggerated. This is borne by the fact that thus far, one of the biggest gripes of Sunni Barelvi mullahs was that their madrassas and mosques were being forcibly occupied by Deobandis (more than Ahle Hadith and Salafis) as they had greater money to spend. So far, Maulana Fazl Kareem, a Faisalabad-based Barelvi cleric, represented some form of consolidated Barelvi ideological interests but he could not make a huge dent because he never got truly handpicked by any external or internal establishment nor did he have the benefit of financial resources. Therefore, it is kind of sudden and strange to see Barelvis come into money. Anyone asking for Qadri’s accountability is not wrong, though it is equally important to have accountability across the board. It makes for good advertisement when Qadri claims that he received funding from followers from around the world but that in itself means nothing. As for huge public support, [while agencies can easily put processions together, the Qadri show was much bigger than agencies capacity]: According to Ayaz Amir, writing in The News: Mockery on target can be devastating. Mockery out of place sounds hollow, rebounding on the perpetrator. It is easy to parody a self-styled Sheikh-ul-Islam in long dress and well-rounded cap. It is less easy to parody a disciplined gathering stretching from the Data Darbar to that side of the River Ravi. Armchair samurais may think mobilising a vast crowd like this is easy. It isn’t. And money alone, even tons of it, can’t ensure the desired outcome. People in the mass can be stupid, the collective wisdom of the masses a piece of fiction politicians and media gurus love to play with. But about one thing, and this is strange, people are not stupid. They walk to an event — could be any event, political gathering or pop concert — only when their hearts lead them. Of course one event — as was proven by Imran Khan’s public show last year –does not a summer, or an upheaval, make. Bubbles form easily and as easily burst. How tall Imran Khan stood on the evening of Oct 30, 2011. Compared to those proportions he looks diminished today. Lasting power…without it politics, or indeed anything, is nothing. So it is foolish to draw any final conclusions from Allama Professor Dr Tahirul Qadri’s massive public show — and for once the word massive is not out of place — on Dec 23. Will it lead to anything or was it just a freakish flash of lightning across the winter skies? The jury has to be out on this. However, the Islam he preaches, this being not a small point, is of the kind with which most Pakistanis, and even westerners, can relate, above sectarianism and the right antidote to the stuff made famous by the Taliban. Ours is a stunted tree. No amount of water or fertiliser can make it straight. Preaching secularism, as I often do, won’t get anyone very far because on this soil this doctrine will never take root. Does anything sound gloomier than the echo of this word ‘never’? An incurable destiny, what can be gloomier than that? At any rate, only something like the moderate version of the faith that the professor preaches has any hope of succeeding. But I am running ahead. (Source:The News) Referring to why different political parties are suddenly following Qadri, the MQM has other reasons as well such as neutralising the Deobandi militants i.e., Sipah Sahaba Taliban (SST) in urban Sindh. In Karachi, the party, for instance, has a severe problem of the growing influence of the Deobandi militants of the Sipah-e-Sahaba/the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) and the Jaish-e-Mohammad. According to a Police Special Branch report, some of the ‘under watch’ Deobandi seminaries are concentrated in Mohajir areas as well, such as Baldia, Nazimabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Jamshed Town, Orangi, Gadap, and others. The Rohingya and Bengali populations in Mohajir-dominated areas are quite inclined towards jihadism and Deobandi ideology. This means that while the MQM may still hope for election victory, it is not as strong as it may hope to be when it comes to social and strategic-political issues. It has little influence on stopping the killing of Shias. The party can also not take the risk of taking on the Deobandi/Ahle-Hadith ideological groups head on. On the other hand, it hopes to minimise the ideological influence through partnering with Tahirul Qadri. The anti-corruption drive may be nothing else but a ploy to use politics to counter the popular jihad narrative. This, however, raises an important question about whether Qadri can influence the jihadi discourse especially through his 600-page Fatwa on Terrorism and Suicide bombing. http://criticalppp.com/archives/2334 Comprising 18 chapters, the fatwa tends to offer a new theory of rebellion and state response to this phenomenon in a Muslim state and society. Even though Tahirul Qadri stated in the Lahore jalsa that he would support people in their agitation against the drones, the fact is that he has condemned all terrorists to death in his fatwa. He considers modern-day terrorists as Kharijis, a group of people that, according to Qadri, existed since the time of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and created fitna (chaos) in society and thus should be eliminated at all costs. There is no forgiveness for the Kharijis or modern-day terrorists in Qadri’s work, which may make his partnership with Imran Khan rather questionable as the PTI wants to talk to, not kill, the Taliban. Speeches by Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri on Takfiri Khariji Terrorists (Deobandi and Salafist militants of Sipah Sahaba, Taliban, Al Qaeda etc) Hadith about Takfiri Khawarij- Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri Dr.Tahir ul Qadri Fatwa – Terrorists Suicide Bombers are Khawarij Dr Qadri warns Pakistan, USA, Saudi Arabia to stop funding and supporting Salafist-Deobandi Takfiris CNN AMANPOUR FATWA (HQ) by TAHIR UL QADRI against Terrorism and Suicide Bombings Traits of the Khawarij and their followers The legal-theological opinion by Qadri shows that there is a consensus in Islam on the Khariji which did not exist in Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) time but came about during the reign of the Fourth Caliph Hazrat Ali (RA) and challenged his authority. The fatwa indeed is historical and presents the opinion of many earlier jurists to establish its thesis regarding the legality of the use of force by non-state actors in an Islamic state. However, the author has used Ibn Taymiyyah, one of the most prominent Islamic scholars of the Hanbali school of thought (revered by most Deobandi and Salafist militants) who has driven the thinking of the Taliban, at least five times without any reference to the scholar’s core argument. Indeed, this is to create an impression of a consensus which is not the case. The problem with this approach is that a strong counterargument cannot be constructed without engaging with the argument first. There is immense propaganda campaign against Tahirul Qadri not only due to sectarian reasons (by Deobandi and Salafist lobby) but also due to political reasons (e.g., by PML-N which previously used its influence on judiciary to malign Dr. Qadri). Dr. Qadri’s arguments are clearly not convincing hard core Takfiris or even Deobandis who are fed on an equally manipulative work by others such as Masood Azhar Deobandis’s three-volume justification of jihad, which, in turn, is styled on a research thesis of a modern Saudi Wahhabi scholar. What Qadri Barelvi condemns as terrorism and Azhar Deobandi applauds as jihad is actually an undecided debate in Islam, between Sunni Sufis and Shias on side and Deobandi and Salafists on the other, on the legality of violence and rebellion. Historically, the entire debate revolves around efforts by jurists to make history and politics consistent with theology, thus creating a highly technical and symbolic discourse on the subject. The debate anchors on two particular verses from the Holy Quran on rebellion. The complexity arose because of the involvement of many of the Holy Prophet’s (pbuh) close associates in rebellion on its discourse – although they never indulged in violence against innocent civilians and government officials in their rebellion. Resorting to indiscriminate violence and breach of moral conduct has been a characteristic of Kharijis and Takfiris. Contrary to Ibn Taymiyyah’s support of rebellion against an illegitimate Islamic state, Qadri does not allow any form of rebellion to an extent. Considering the very thin line in the fatwa between licit and illicit rebellion, it is easy to understand that Qadri does not believe in violent rebellion against the political system. While one may disagree with Dr. Qadri’s political approach, a peaceful long march cannot be compared to violent insurrection against the State by Deobandi militants of Sipah Sahaba Taliban. =================

Syrian rebels take control of Damascus Palestinian camp

Posted 14 December 2012 - 06:12 AM The Americans Must watch out for the revenge of the Jihadists! Following the US invasion of Iraq, Al-Qaeda found a fertile ground supported by local Sunni Arabs and remnants of Saddam regime. One of the most notorious Al-Qaeda Emir in Iraq wss no other than Abu Musaab Al-Zarqawi, an Afghan veteran with violent anti-American track record including the Killing of CIA station chief in Amman. Al-Zarqawi is known for his ruthless suicidal attacks and the beheading of Americans and their allies. Al-Zaqwai was tracked down by a Jordanian intelligence officer, Capt. Sharif Ali Bin Zeid which led to his death on the hands of the Americans in Iraq. But the Jihadists didn't forget this and Captain Bin Zeid was followed to Afghanistan where he was killed by a Jordanian-Al-Qaeda double agent, Dr Hammam Khaleel Mohammed, on December 31 2009. Dr Mohammed was recruited while in Prison in Jordan to track Dr Ayman Al-Zawahiri. In Syria, the brother-in-law of late Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, Mr Abu Jileed Al-Tubasi (Al-Zarqawi) was appointed yesterday 13.12.2012 to the post of an Emir of the Nusrat front. The same front which the US considers as terrorist. The second Al-Zarqawi intends to seek revenge for the killing of Bin Laden. At this moment, it will not be difficult to the kidnapping and the beheading of special-forces members of US, France, Israel, UK and a large number of CIA-hired civilian contractors directing the street fights. If Mr Assad ever decide to call it a day, the Americans will have no where to hide, as the Nusrat front is the most effective fighting force in the country with increasing support from the youth. The USraelis, that are currently seeding the winds, will eventually reap the hurricanes. No-one will fight the Americans and the British more than those humiliated, tortured and imprisoned without trial by the CIA and MI-6. Sending the Guantanamo and Bagram detainees to Turkey, as Putin has allegedly said, means to directing the resistance against the Americans. As an example, Al-Nusrat front don't want foreign intervention in Syria or have peace with Israel. Good luck to the USraelis. "They make a desert and will call it victory" I hope that the Usraelis stop meddling in the affairs of others. Now it is too late, as the Geni is out of the bottle. In Syria there will be losers but no winners. I somehow believe that Alqaeda, the Israelis and their US-Gulf Arab mentors will suffer significan strategic losses. We have seen what foreign interventions done in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. And we will be here to witness the fiasco in Syria. Adnan Darwash, Iraq Occupation Times ================ THE POLITICAL DYNAMICS OF PAKISTAN: By Prof. Dr. Gholam Mujtaba Those killed by Syrian government's brutality are not Muslims, claims a news-report. QUESTION-1: Since when, Sunni Muslims (who form the majority in Syria) or those killed by Syria's minority brutal regime have been thrown out of Islam ? QUESTION-2: What is the story behind the story of Allama Tahirul Qadri ? Comments: Pl do not divide the Sunnis into =Wahabis or Barelvis to promote your designs of divide & rule. To us, all of us, including Shias & Sunnis are vital organs of Muslim nations. And those outside of Islam are equally important to us as well. Who are we to discriminate, when God himself is "RABUL A'ALAMEEN", & Prophet of Islam, SWS, is "RAHMATULLIL A'ALAMEEN". We are not ordained to send others to hell-fire ? It is thy Lord whose domain we need not to interfere. We need to follow the path defined to us, that does not allow us to promote 'dogmatism' or hatred. Allama Tahirul Qadri is the President of the PAT (Pakistan Awami Tehreek). + Agha Murtaza Poya is the Senior Vice President of the PAT. Agha Saheb in his statement published in the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) declares that Iran can give new social system to the world. Thus, should we conclude that an Iranian system is promoted by PAT in Pakistan. [ Reference: http://www.irna.ir/en/NewsPrint.aspx?ID=80355295 ] = MQM's Altaf Hussain has FULLY ENDORSED PAT AND TODAY Former President Pervez Musharraf's APML ENDORSED PAT. Which shows a U-TURN of Pervez Musharraf, a tilt towards Iran. SHOULD PAKISTAN JOIN HANDS WITH IRAN + Syria and say goodbye to Turkey & Saudi Arabia ? Should Pakistan condone SUNNI massacre in Syria. Should Pakistan oppose expulsion of Syria from the 56 member states of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation ? Is this a national security interest of Pakistan ? Are we fighting someone else's war within the boundaries of Pakistan ? What is the TRUTH ? HOWEVER, I MUST MAKE IT CLEAR that: To me, my Shia brothers are equally important as my Sunni brothers. I do not discriminate none of them, but would always stand against INJUSTICE & BRUTALITY even it is my REAL brother. This is the bottom line. Furthermore, Jews, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs etc etc are all equal in the eyes of God, and why should they be different to me. It is humanity, that stands above all. All human beings are equal irrespective of color, creed or religious denomination. JOKE OF THE DAY: Muttehida-Musharraf League-Awami Tehreek Joint Mahaz Quaid= Allama Tahirul Qadri Chairman=Altaf Hussain Secretary=Pervez Musharraf TREASURER: Agha Murtaza Poya Manifesto: Friendship with PIA ( Pakistan -Iran - Afghanistan) Alliance Cut off ties with : Saudi Arabia, Turkey & OIC Support: Syria to kill its majority Sunnis Distraction: Defame the United States Hostility: Protest in Islamabad over an expected verdict against Altaf Hussain on a contempt case on JAN-07, protests follow starting JAN-10 onwards to save Syrian asset, the MQM. Target: [ 1 ] :Subdue Supreme Court's action on Altaf. [ 2 ] :Create law & order situation post judgment on Altaf to make it possible for the EXECUTIVE to remove the Chief Justice on the pretext of public uproar. Remedy: Take a preemptive measure by invoking MPO (Maintenance of Public Order) over the mastermind to house-arrest. THE "RATS" GRAND ALLIANCE = Rejected + Abandoned + Turned Down + Saboteurs [ALLIANCE] = MQM + APML + PAT or = Mr. Altaf Hussain + Pres. Pervez Musharraf + Allama Tahirul Qadri = Getting ready to fight with the JUDICIARY, why? Mr. Altaf Hussain EVADING law & criminal cases in the SC + Pres. Musharraf - do - do - do - Both violators of local laws Both + Allama Qadri "runaways" ......ABROAD Both scared of the Supreme Court Allama, the new guardian leading the saboteurs, the RATS ALLIANCE, to sabotage Supreme Court's orders for Altaf Hussain's physical appearance on January-07 by destabilizing Islamabad on the 10th of January and onwards. It is a constitutional matter of MPO (Mintenance of Public Order ). Why shouldn't, MPO be invoked on this obstruction of Justice ? The only purpose of today's JALSA was a warm-up session, and a public mobilizing campaign to start a crusade against judiciary in the backdrop of an expected judicial action against Altaf on the 7th of Jan. The dates announced by Allama, and the venue correlates to find the cat out of the bag ? Alas ! so specific ? MY PERSONAL ASSESSMENT: Allama Tahirul Qadri, a new CUSTODIAN cum GUARDIAN of Altaf Hussain in Pakistan to create a SITUATION out of an expected DEFAULT on Supreme Court's mandatory physical appearance of Altaf Hussain on January-07. He wants to CREATE UNREST in Islamabad to protect that interest. THIS IS WHY BOTH ALTAF + QADRI disclosed IDENTITY OF VIEWS before the JALSA. Allama Qadri calls for protest in Islamabad starting January-10th to extend support to MQM's ALTAF HUSSAIN to subdue Supreme Court's Action against Altaf on January-07. He is a threat to MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC ORDER (MPO). Based on his preachings on constitution, why an MPO be not applied on him obstructing JUSTICE in Islamabad. . Allama criticizes the parliament, but with the same breath welcomes the 50 member MQM delegation that represents the government and the parliament. WHAT IS A PROPER WORD TO THIS HYPOCRISY IN URDU ? IS HE CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT TO SAVE ALTAF HUSSAIN FROM HIS MANDATORY PHYSICAL APPEARANCE ON JANUARY-07, 2013. IS THIS THE MAIN PURPOSE OF HIS PREACHING LAW & CONSTITUTIONAL LAW TODAY ? ALLAMA QADRI: A GREAT LIAR OF TODAY: Says 30 lacs sitting in his JALSA ? Where is his oath on Quran before the start of this JALSA ? Can I ask as to how he knows that there are 30 lacs not 29 lacs ? WHAT A LIAR ? SUMMARY: QUESTION: 1. IS IT NOT A FACT THAT ALTAF HUSSAIN IS A FUGITIVE IN PAKISTANI LAW ? IF YES, then which constitution is Allama Qadri PROMOTING through HOODWINK ? 2. Talking of Tax Laws & income? ALLAMA what about the income of ALTAF HUSSAIN whose party is sitting next to you ? 3. What about "BHATTA" & "BORI BAND LASH" politics of MQM during its governments in the past 24 years ? Allama: Which Law are you promoting ? A SPEECH FULL OF BLUFF, LIES, HOODWINK & HYPOCRISY ? FIFTH QUESTION: "TAHIRUL QADRI JALSA" Allama Qadri EMPHASIZING on Constitution ? Where is that CONSTITUTION when the BIGGEST VIOLATORS OF LAW, the MQM SITTING NEXT TO HIM ? Does that constitution has no consequence on a Pakistani FUGITIVE sitting in London and EVADING LAW and the constitution of Pakistan ? Does that constitution of Allama Qadri provides IMPUNITY TO ALTAF HUSSAIN from appearance before the SUPREME COURT on January-7, 2013 . Allama is shouting of HONESTY ? WHERE IS THAT HONESTY WHEN ALTAF HUSSAIN VIOLATES PAKISTANI LAWS AS A FUGITIVE ? , and that TEAM of law violators are sitting on his stage ? IS HE MAKING A MOCKERY OF LAW ? FOURTH QUESTION: "TAHIRUL QADRI JALS" Allama Qadri giving lesson on election & constitution's TRANSPARENCY. REBUTTAL : How come the pioneers of rigging, the MQM is SITTING NEXT TO HIM ? WHAT A CLASSICAL BLUFF ???? THIRD QUESTION: "TAHIRUL QADRI JALSA" WHY SO MUCH POISON ABOUT MILITARY LEADERSHIP ? SECOND QUESTION: "TAHIRUL QADRI JALSA" Who is promoting the audience through a BLURRED vision to look bigger on the GEO-TV ? Why the same audience is shown with a REAL vision by the DUNYA TV ? Is it the difference in the management promoting their ideology ? QUESTION OF THE DAY ? Allama Tahirul Qadri addressing the crowd in Lahore. " Main us siyasat ko reject karta hon jo Karachi kay peaceful shahar ko dahshat gardi ka nishana bana chuka hai", Dr. Tahirul Qadri. REALITY: " I welcome the 50 member delegation of MQM in the jalsa", Tahirul Qadri. REBUTTAL: Dr. Qadri , if the second Caliph of Islam had to be accountable for state affairs during his Khilafat, why can't the MQM be held responsible for "terror" during its 24 years in Government. TRUTH: Pre-MQM was a peaceful Karachi while Post-MQM is an INSECURE Karachi. QUESTION: Dr. Qadri are you expressing the truth, or trying to promote your AGENDA to look to be TRUTH. From the Admin: POLL RESULTS ON THE INTERNET THROUGH FACEBOOK; Dr. Gholam Mujtaba = 61,278 votes vs Mr. Altaf Hussain = 40,129 votes Dr. Gholam Mujtaba DEFEATS Mr. Altaf Hussain by over 30% votes. زبانِ خلق کو نقارہِ خدا سمجھو خلق جسے کہے بجا، اُسے بجا سمجھو KPK Senior Minister, Bashir Ahmed Bilour passed away after being critically injured in a suicide attack. We expect a news to surface blaming/ &/ accepting of the charges by the Taliban, however, other avenues of such conspiracy against Pakistan should not be IGNORED. "I strongly condemn this assassination of a great leader, an asset of Pakistan. We need to explore the real culprits responsible for such acts to destabilize Pakistan", said Dr. Gholam Mujtaba in a press statement tonight. WE STRICTLY BELIEVE ABOVE SHIA-SUNNI SECTARIAN DIVIDE, YET QUESTION THE BRUTALITY NO MATTER WHERE IT ORIGINATES: WHERE ARE YOU ? WHY NO VOICE ON SUNNI GENOCIDE IN SYRIA against the BRUTAL MINORITY GOVERNMENT of "ALAWIS" in Syria ??? Allama Tahirul Qadri + Former President Pervez Musharraf + Mr. Altaf Hussain + others = where is your voice ??? = A SOLID DISTRACTION. SILENCE MEANS WHAT ??? Holding a PUBLIC meeting on the 23rd and NOT RAISING a single word for Sunni massacre.....IS IT A DISTRACTION of public opinion ? When "HAMAS" fired rockets at Israel at a " S P E C I F I C " "T I M E" to divert public opinion from SYRIA'S SUSPENSION of 56 member OIC (Organization of Islamic nations) membership, hue & cry against the U.S. were raised ? TODAY SYRIA IS KILLING HUNDREDS OF PALESTINIANS in its refugee camps (only because they are SUNNIS) in Damascus, where is that hue & cry ??? SEE THE NEWS: R E U T E R S: By Mariam Karouny BEIRUT, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Syrian fighter jets bombed the Palestinian Yarmouk camp in Damascus on Sunday, killing at least 25 people sheltering in a mosque in an area where Syrian rebels have been trying to advance into the capital, opposition activists said. Continued, see: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/16/-palestinian-yarmouk_n_2312062.html ================== =========== Syrian rebels take control of Damascus Palestinian camp Tue, Dec 18 01:07 AM EST 1 of 24 By Mariam Karouny BEIRUT (Reuters) - Syrian rebels took full control of the Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp on Monday after fighting raged for days in the district on the southern edge of President Bashar al-Assad's Damascus powerbase, rebel and Palestinian sources said. The battle had pitted rebels, backed by some Palestinians, against Palestinian fighters of the pro-Assad Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC). Many PFLP-GC fighters defected to the rebel side and their leader Ahmed Jibril left the camp two days ago, rebel sources said. "All of the camp is under the control of the (rebel) Free Syrian Army," said a Palestinian activist in Yarmouk. He said clashes had stopped and the remaining PFLP fighters retreated to join Assad's forces massed on the northern edge of the camp. The battle in Yarmouk is one of a series of conflicts on the southern fringes of Assad's capital, as rebels try to choke the power of the 47-year-old leader after a 21-month-old uprising in which 40,000 people have been killed. Government forces have used jets and artillery to try to dislodge the fighters but the violence has crept into the heart of the city and activists say rebels overran three army stations in a new offensive in the central province of Hama on Monday. On the border with Lebanon, hundreds of Palestinian families fled across the frontier following the weekend violence in Yarmouk, a Reuters witness said. Syria hosts half a million Palestinian refugees, most living in Yarmouk, descendants of those admitted after the creation of Israel in 1948, and has always cast itself as a champion of the Palestinian struggle, sponsoring several guerrilla factions. Both Assad's government and the mainly Sunni Muslim Syrian rebels have enlisted and armed divided Palestinian factions as the uprising has developed into a civil war. "NEITHER SIDE CAN WIN" Syrian Vice President Farouq al-Sharaa said in a newspaper interview published on Monday that neither Assad's forces nor rebels seeking to overthrow him can win the war. Sharaa, a Sunni Muslim in a power structure dominated by Assad's Alawite minority, has rarely been seen since the revolt erupted in March 2011 and is not part of the president's inner circle directing the fight against Sunni rebels. But he is the most prominent figure to say in public that Assad will not win. Sharaa said the situation in Syria was deteriorating and a "historic settlement" was needed to end the conflict, involving regional powers and the U.N. Security Council and the formation of a national unity government "with broad powers". "With every passing day the political and military solutions are becoming more distant. We should be in a position defending the existence of Syria. We are not in a battle for an individual or a regime," Sharaa was quoted as telling Al-Akhbar newspaper. "The opposition cannot decisively settle the battle and what the security forces and army units are doing will not achieve a decisive settlement," he said, adding that insurgents fighting to topple Syria's leadership could plunge it into "anarchy and an unending spiral of violence". Sources close to the Syrian government say Sharaa had pushed for dialogue with the opposition and objected to the military response to an uprising that began peacefully. In a veiled criticism of the crackdown, he said there was a difference between the state's duty to provide security to its citizens, and "pursuing a security solution to the crisis". He said even Assad could not be certain where events in Syria were leading, but that anyone who met him would hear that "this is a long struggle...and he does not hide his desire to settle matters militarily to reach a final solution." In Hama province, rebels and the army clashed in a new campaign launched on Sunday by rebels to block off the country's north, activists said. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition-linked violence monitor, said fighting raged through the provincial towns of Karnaz, Kafar Weeta, Halfayeh and Mahardeh. It said there were no clashes reported in Hama city, which lies on the main north-south highway connecting the capital with Aleppo, Syria's second city. Qassem Saadeddine, a member of the newly established rebel military command, said on Sunday fighters had been ordered to surround and attack army positions across the province. He said Assad's forces were given 48 hours to surrender or be killed. In 1982 Hafez al-Assad, father of the current ruler, crushed an uprising in Hama city, killing up to 30,000 civilians. Qatiba al-Naasan, a rebel from Hama, said the offensive would bring retaliatory air strikes from the government but that the situation is "already getting miserable".
