Supreme health, education councils restructured

Supreme health, education councils restructured February 21, 2014 - 4:54:23 am Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued an Emiri decision restructuring the Supreme Council of Health. The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani is the chairman, with Dr Mohamed bin Ghanim Al Ali as Vice-Chairman. Members include Abdullah bin Khalid Al Qahtani, Sheikha Dr Ghalia bint Mohamed bin Hamad Al Thani, Dr Lord Darzi, Dr Elias Zerhounui, Dr Jenchen Le and Christine Beasley. The Emir also issued Emiri decision No. 14 of 2014 restructuring the Supreme Education Council. The revamped council is chaired by the Prime Minister with Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani as Vice-Chairman and chairperson of the executive committee. Members include Dr Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada, Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali, Dr Mohamed bin Abdulwahid Ali Al Hammadi, Dr Abdullah bin Saleh Mubarak Al Khulaifi, Dr Sheikha bint Abdullah Al Misned, Dr Abdullah bin Ali bin Saoud Al Thani, Dr Mazen Jassim Al Jaidah and Dr Douglas Palmer.
