Foreign investors sue Toshiba over accounting scandal

REUTERS/Toru Hanai/File Photo Toshiba Corp said on Thursday a group of foreign institutional investors had filed a lawsuit against the Tokyo-based company demanding compensation over its accounting scandal. The company said 45 shareholders were seeking compensation of about 16.7 billion yen ($162.29 million) over the inappropriate accounting. (Reporting by Junko Fujita; Editing by Stephen Coates)
