Assalam alaikum I have a question about family domestic violence in Australia. I'm currently going through domestic violence by my husband. What can I do to protect myself as i have no more peace of mind and this person doesn't seem to change, regret or anything. What will be my future if I leave him now I have TR. Please suggest me anything I'm going through hard time or if any lawyer is here to help me out. I have a child too. JazakAllah

Syed Hamid Mukhtar Shah Sorry to hear about your situation. I would advise you to neet meet up with a legal professional as soon as you can. I dont think your visa will be terminated if you divorce him or separate from him.

Ghulam Mustafa Not really a good way to resolve your personal conflicts.
On top of that, being more worried about visa status than marital status putting ur intension in more doubt.

Jenn May Don’t stay just because you are afraid of visa circumstances as a women who was a victim of domestic violence I advise you make a safety plan, save some money (if possible) pack documents and small bag of things for you and children.. and don’t be afraid to reach out for help.

AR Rehman This is your side of story but you didn't mention here what you are doing which bring him at this level. Taalee doonoo hath say bajtee hai bahn jee. Best solution is instead of taking legal advice and f**k up your family life it's better to involve your parents and his parents. Once families will sit together for sure they will find some way. Saqlain Naqvi 99% of such cases will automatically move to Sheikh consulted separation...then a day will come to total divorce.
There are few who are in a position of reconciliation and mutual respect in both party's eyes. If you see and grade opinion, no one wants to put her/himself in direct involvement. Kahan gaya wo Pak. Na wo Wattan raha na wo Qoum.

How are applications assessed?
Complete and eligible applications are assessed and ranked based on the applicant’s professional and personal qualities, academic competence and, most importantly, potential to have a positive impact on development challenges in their home country.
What is a Development Impact Plan?
The Development Impact Plan (DIP) records how you hope to contribute to the development of Pakistan when you return from your studies in Australia. It is a mandatory document for Australia Awards South and West Asia Scholarship applications and must be submitted through OASIS before the application deadline.
The purpose of the DIP is to help you establish a link between your professional requirements (human resource gaps), the course of study in Australia and development priorities of Pakistan. The DIP seeks to articulate practical and realistic tasks showing how you plan to apply the skills and knowledge gained from your studies in Australia. You will also need to demonstrate the feasibility of the tasks you have identified by highlighting the possible constraints and the resources that you may need in order to implement them.
The DIP is updated at various points of the award cycle (Pre-Departure Briefing, Return Home Workshop, and Reintegration Workshop).
You can download the template for the DIP here.
