The two sides discussed a number of outstanding issues and how to solve them in the meeting as well as economy of Basra, according to the statement. The governor of Basra said that “he will make his effort to develop the province and open prospects of joint economic cooperation with neighboring countries as a consideration to the years of injustice that occurred on the city”. The media adviser to Basra’s governor, Farouk Hamdi has previously visited Kuwait a few days ago to discuss the consolidation of relations and resolve outstanding problems between Basra and Kuwait. #Basra regionalism talk
